To Those Who Celebrate...

 Hi!

To those who celebrate a religious holiday this weekend, Enjoy!

It seems no matter the reason, getting together with loved ones and sharing meals is universal. So embrace this time spent under one roof, cherish it, celebrate!

With all of the insanity that is going on, we need to take these moments and make the absolute most of them.

So, the people running things just south of the 49th seem to be proving their incompetence in the most spectacular of ways. This is apparently what happens when completely unqualified people are put in positions they have no business inhabiting.

At this point, does any of it surprise us anymore? I mean, if you ask a toddler to do your taxes, you can't be surprised when mistakes happen, can you?

I mean, the guy in charge of health eats bloated roadkill and swims in shit... literally. The guy in charge of the military can't spell it. The woman, who was somehow too incompetent, even for this collection of morons, brought burn books instead of answers to testify under oath.

And let's not forget the king of morons, the grand Cheeto himself, who, maybe for the first time in his life, maybe, just maybe, might be on the cusp of some real life consequences. This dementia ridden, soulless, malignant narcissist is on the verge of crashing into the reality he has managed to avoid his entire life.

Here's hoping the big macs don't take him out before he gets to feel the humiliation, the defeat, the unfathomable weight of carrying every horrific deed. I hope he hangs around long enough to be forced to watch his life play in slow motion for all the world to see, the veil of the cult stripped away, truth the only spotlight.

Hopefully this lesson in idiocracy is almost over.

We've learned that actual qualifications are important.

We've learned the importance of critical thinking.

We've learned that stoking fear of each other is a weapon of mass distraction.

As a Canadian, there isn't a day that goes by, that I am not incredibly grateful that, given the choice between a Temu Cheeto and a qualified adult, we, as a nation, put the adult in charge.

We put the right person in the job.

Grateful.
