Hi!
With everything that's going on in the world, it can feel, sometimes, that time is simultaneously standing still and moving at lightning speed.
The news is a relentless onslaught, putting on an endless display of the absolute worst of humanity. Showing us in real time what happens when money and power are put at the centre of the universe. When accountability for the richest and most powerful remains unchecked for far too long. When the very few on the planet who actually have the means to do the most good for the most people choose, instead, to use their wealth and position to exploit and destroy young lives for their truly evil, heinous, entertainment.
Every day, bombing, innocent people, senselessly killed, evidence of torturing children revealed, a horror movie on repeat. Only, it's not. The bombings are happening in different places, it's additional innocents being slaughtered every day, it's further evidence of more children being tortured every... single...day.
It's all happening so fast, the piling on, the "more of the same" becoming heavier and heavier.
I know it's hard to believe, but there will be a day, in the not too distant future when we turn on the news, and it will be different.
The Pumpkin POTUS will no longer be the one sitting behind the resolute desk. Serious people with functioning moral compasses will be back at the helm. It won't be paradise, but at least it won't be the dementia driven hell it is right now.
Accountability will come. War crimes do get prosecuted. People absolutely go to prison for raping, torturing, murdering and sex-trafficking children.
Although it may seem like we are living in a horror driven news loop... we aren't.
Time is passing, the Karma clock is ticking, with each day that passes, the insanity comes one day closer to reaching its end. We will finally be able to step off this hamster wheel of horror.
At least this chapter.
Sorry, that was pretty skeptical.
Look, we all know that there will always be evil-doing humans out there, but maybe, just maybe, this stretch of history will teach us not to vote for them.
Time is passing, the warmth is on the horizon, the light will, once again, outshine the dark.
We got this.
